Swiss banking secrecy is not an impenetrable wall

The Justice Department yesterday reaffirmed its intent to pursue the names of some suspected 52,000 secret-account holders with UBS bank yesterday, putting to rest speculation that it might drop its case before a July 13th court date. In filed yesterday with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, DOJ asserts that its John Doe summons are perfectly enforceable and that Swiss banking secrecy "is not an impenetrable wall."
